The voice dictation feature uses your operating system's own speech recognition service (for example, Google's): our app does not record or process the audio itself. The translation feature sends the text you type to the external MyMemory Translation API service. We may also query GIPHY to show content (GIFs) related to your search. Don't enter confidential information into these features.
4. Providers that help us
We use infrastructure, measurement, and analytics providers, including Firebase (database, push messaging, analytics, remote configuration, and crash diagnostics), Microsoft Clarity (session recordings and heatmaps to understand how the app is used), Google Mobile Ads, MyMemory Translation API, and GIPHY. You can also sign in with your Google account as an optional external provider. Each provider processes information according to its own policies and the instructions necessary to provide its service.
5. How we use the information
We use the information to provide and personalize the app, sync your account, save your progress, respond to requests, protect the service, detect errors, measure performance, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, keep legitimate records, or resolve disputes. We apply reasonable security measures, although no transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
